It was many years ago, over 10 years ago, that I noticed the cornucopia was not there on one of my sons t-shirts, and I just thought that the company had streamlined the logo, but it made me sad that they would do that. Needless to say, no one is exempt from being stumped by the strange occurrences, and some even go so far as believe them as some sort of proof of alternate realities. Other people related to her in remembering things not exactly in the way that they happened, from spellings of your favorite snack brands all the way to important events that happened the year they were born. Its called a cornucopia and its definitely not 'exactly like' the Fruit of the Loom logo since the FOTL probably doesnt have a chili pepper, watermelon and pineapple in it. The cause for the change is debated, although one prevalent theory is 'jumping universes', based on the theory that there are an unlimited amount of universes where every version of reality is possible and exists simultaneously: for example theres a universe where the Fruit of The Loom logo has a cornucopia, and one where it doesnt. ![]() And it was named by paranormal researcher Fiona Broome, who wrongly recalled that late South African president, Nelson Mandela, had died in the 1980s after his imprisonment, when in fact, he passed in 2013.Īpparently, misremembering events and facts isn’t just exclusive to Broome. I don’t remember fruit of the loom having a cornucopia, I think it’s just a bunch of fruit laying next to each other. It impressed me because I thought the logo looked better with a cornucopia in it. I remember when (in my mind) Fruit of the Loom quit using a cornucopia in their logo and switched to just using fruit by itself. ![]() The Fruit of the Loom logo is also a cluster of fruits so the brain tends to mix things up and think 'Hey, theres a cornucopia here with these fruits'. The food coming out of the flute is soul food, actually, a ham hock, cabbage, black-eyed peas, etc. This eerie phenomenon where people collectively misremember events, historical facts and other famous pop culture moments is called the Mandela Effect. The cornucopia is usually displayed with fruits, just to see on google image by typing cornucopia the number which is represented with a cluster of fruits or vegetables. And as shocking as this discovery may feel in this very moment, you are actually not alone. If you remember Dorothy’s famous line in The Wizard of Oz as, "Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore,” you would, in fact, be wrong.
